BIM Drafting Engineer – Civil & Structural Projects

About the role

We are seeking a BIM Drafting Engineer to produce accurate engineering drawings for a range of building and infrastructure projects. The role involves translating design sketches into detailed BIM models and ensuring compliance with CP83 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural engineering drawings to CP83 specifications.
• Interpret design sketches from engineers and convert them into BIM drawings.
• Communicate with design engineers, consultants and approving agencies to gather information and expedite approvals.
• Prepare and submit civil & structural BIM drawings to relevant authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date BIM models using Autodesk Revit and related tools.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC from ITE or a diploma from a polytechnic.
• Familiarity with authority submission procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit Structure.
• Ability to use Navisworks for BIM coordination.
