Brand Manager, Strategic Partnerships (Johnnie Walker) - 6 Month Maternity Cover

About the role

Diageo is looking for a passionate and strategic brand marketer to shape the Johnnie Walker brand roadmap for Strategic Partnerships, covering the Core and Luxury portfolio. The role sits in the Marketing function within the Strategic Partnership business unit, which is rapidly growing and offers strong career and learning opportunities. It is a 6-month maternity cover contract based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design the annual Johnnie Walker marketing brief and deliver performance against pre-defined KPIs for Strategic Partnerships, covering both Recruitment and Luxury
• Work closely with the Global Brand Team, adapting global toolkits to local nuances and leading global project pilots
• Act as Brand Champion, working with the SP Category and Consumer Planning Lead on the Johnnie Walker portfolio and key variants
• Drive profitable share growth by assessing share drivers and recommending solutions to Partner Commercial teams
• Improve brand health and ensure category leadership, with 100% adherence to annual activation calendars
• Enforce brand guidelines on advertising, merchandising and POSM, and drive synergy across markets on brand activations, experiential activations and BTL assets
• Manage the central budget efficiently and in compliance, with strong measurement and evaluation and communication with Finance

Required profile

• Influential leadership and negotiation skills, able to align senior stakeholders across functions and business units
• Project management skills, including use of frameworks such as RAPID or RASCI
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to distil insights for consumer personas and solve problems creatively
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and value chain analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong fluency in English
• Experience working with diverse teams and influencing partners across an organisation
