Building Services Supervisor

About the role

The Building Services Supervisor will oversee the work of implementation contractors and vendors at construction sites and fabrication yards. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements while complying with contractual deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, inspect and commission MEP systems in line with design specifications and statutory requirements.
• Implement HSE procedures, verify MS/JSA documentation, and ensure all work permits are obtained and adhered to.
• Conduct daily safety walks, evaluate site conditions, and communicate hazards and control measures to subcontractor supervisors.
• Maintain liaison with other discipline supervisors to coordinate work and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor subcontractor productivity, quality, and schedule compliance, reporting deficiencies to the Field Superintendent.
• Verify that materials used conform to project technical documents, codes, and specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising MEP works on construction sites or fabrication yards.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and permit management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and ensure compliance with contractual deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills for safety briefings and reporting.
