Business Development Executive

About the role

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to support the Regional Head in driving growth, strategic initiatives and executive decision‑making across the region. The role blends commercial development, market intelligence, analytics and cross‑functional project management, offering high visibility and direct exposure to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, potential clients and partnerships across the region.
• Support commercial discussions, proposal preparation and negotiation activities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, partners and key industry stakeholders.
• Assist in pipeline development, lead follow‑up and tracking of commercial commitments.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, monitor execution and report progress to the Regional Head.
• Escalate risks, bottlenecks and dependencies, proposing solutions to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead or coordinate special projects and strategic initiatives across functions and geographies.
• Organise executive governance forums such as leadership meetings, business reviews and strategic workshops.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capabilities with a commercial mindset.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across multiple markets.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in business development, strategic planning or executive support roles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior‑level engagements.
