Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the planning, organization and control of sales activities for Flintex Consulting’s product portfolio across the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving budget targets, profitability and fostering strong customer relationships while overseeing technical service and personnel development.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, plan and manage sales and promotion of the product portfolio in the designated area.
• Transfer sales techniques and customer‑approach knowledge to the sales team.
• Provide commercial and technical support to sales staff as needed.
• Apply the Sales Effectiveness Program, conduct regular sales meetings and analyse performance.
• Monitor outstanding debts monthly to minimise bad‑debt risk and improve cash flow.
• Determine and optimise stock levels and market segment profiles.
• Enter and track sales information in the C4C CRM system, managing the opportunity pipeline.
• Coordinate inventory with the BS Manager to avoid obsolete stock and ensure timely deliveries.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors and produce monthly reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, especially key accounts.
• Supervise report submission, ensure credit terms are met and collaborate with other departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing sales operations and leading a sales team.
• Strong understanding of commercial, technical service and customer service processes.
• Ability to analyse financial data, control expenses and monitor credit collections.
• Experience in inventory and stock management.
• Excellent communication skills for internal coaching and external client interaction.
