Business Finance Analyst, Central Intelligence and Analytics

About the role

Google is seeking a Business Finance Analyst to join the APAC Central Intelligence & Analytics team. The role serves as the FP&A backbone for the APAC Ads business, blending data engineering, AI‑driven automation, and deep financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end quota‑setting cycles for APAC sub‑regions across product lines.
• Manage regional Operational Expenditure (OpEx) and orchestrate complex quota allocations.
• Produce high‑visibility executive reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Automate financial processes using AI toolsets, SQL and advanced spreadsheet models.
• Transform planning, tracking, and control processes to improve accuracy and speed.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, business analysis, data analysis or a related function.
• Experience working with large data volumes and solving complex analytical problems.
• Knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and ability to build trusted advisory relationships with executive leaders.
• Strong financial modeling capability and sound business judgement.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing multiple assignments in an unstructured environment.
