Business Planning & Analytics Associate – Regional SPX

About the role

We are looking for a Business Planning & Analytics Associate to join our Regional SPX team. You will support operational improvements across Shopee’s logistics network in Southeast Asia, working closely with regional leaders and local market teams to solve real‑world business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual and quarterly planning for SPX, including operating costs and CapEx.
• Build financial and operational models for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Analyse logistics cost structures and identify optimisation levers.
• Conduct CapEx evaluations (ROI, payback period, business case) to guide investment decisions.
• Track and report initiative performance against assumptions.
• Provide data‑driven insights on cost efficiency, resource allocation and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with local SPX and operations teams to translate targets into actionable initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reports that monitor key operational and financial KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of financial concepts such as cost drivers, ROI and payback period.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams across different countries.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of SQL (advantage).
• Familiarity with Python for data analysis (advantage).
