Camp Operations Manager

About the role

The Camp Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that all critical facilities and services within the Hendon Camp operate at 100% readiness. This includes overseeing food safety, retail, feeding, and maintenance functions to meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain 100% readiness of critical operations facilities.
• Proactively monitor and maintain equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain a zero‑incident food safety record.
• Oversee timely delivery of retail, feeding, and maintenance services.
• Ensure compliance with national service quality and safety standards.
• Manage cost‑effective repair and maintenance programmes.
• Set team priorities, objectives, and develop personnel.

Required profile

• Education in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, or Retail.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience (candidates with no experience may also apply).
• Experience in institutional catering, estate management, maintenance, or retail operations is advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership, and positive attitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
