Centre Management System Support Specialist (1-Year Contract)

About the role

The Specialist – Centre Management System Support ensures that all exhibits, audio‑visual equipment, facilities and essential services are ready and operational each day for the centres and museums managed by Defence Collective Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily startup and shutdown of facilities, exhibits, attractions and projection systems.
• Provide first‑level corrective maintenance and respond to system or building faults.
• Supervise and inspect contractors and service providers (cleaning, landscaping, pest control, security, etc.) ensuring compliance with safety regulations and DCS standards.
• Set up logistics for events, including AV systems, furniture and equipment.
• Report and recommend procurement of critical spares and consumables and participate in facilities improvement projects.
• Carry out ad‑hoc duties, hands‑on work and assigned projects.
• Respond to fire emergencies, incidents and accidents on site.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification (N‑Level, O Level, NITEC or professional certificate).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a comparable facilities or AV support role.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Physical capability to walk frequently, stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, kneel and lift heavy loads.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• AV systems operation and basic troubleshooting.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between SGD 2,000 and SGD 3,000.
• Fixed 1‑year contract.
