Chef de Partie – Pastry (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join our island‑wide restaurant network. Working under the Pastry Chef, you will help deliver high‑quality pastries and desserts while maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef in daily production of pastries, cakes and desserts.
• Prepare ingredients, portion and plate items according to recipe specifications.
• Receive, store and check the quality of raw materials, ensuring proper temperature control.
• Monitor production volumes, estimate daily needs and maintain consistency across shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pastry station and ensure all equipment is functional.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu updates and special client requests.
• Train and guide junior staff on pastry techniques and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably at a similar Chef de Partie level.
• Good knowledge of basic pastry techniques and food‑safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, volume‑driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality.
