Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Design (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong design experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, drains, sewers, slopes and retaining walls. The role will support Singapore‑based projects, handling design, coordination and basic drafting independently while liaising with authorities and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Design roads in line with LTA Civil Design Criteria, relevant codes of practice and Standard Details of Road Elements (SDRE).
• Develop drainage and sewer designs complying with PUB guidelines and other COPs.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and technical submissions for agencies such as HDB, LTA, PUB, BCA and NPARKS.
• Create plan/profile drawings, cross‑sections and detailed layouts for road and drainage works.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants and internal teams to obtain approvals.
• Support tender preparation, produce construction drawings and assist with site coordination.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in resolving design issues during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (recognised by the PE Board Singapore preferred).
• 2–6 years of relevant infrastructure experience, preferably in Singapore.
• Familiarity with LTA CDC, COPs, SDRE, PUB design guidelines and NPARKS COP.
• Ability to perform basic drafting work independently.
• Good understanding of submission processes to authorities such as LTA, PUB, BCA, URA and NPARKS.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
