Civil & Structural Resident Engineer – Jurong Port

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Civil and Structural Resident Engineer to lead site supervision at Jurong Port. You will be the primary point of contact for contractors, ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contractors’ schedules, day works and overall site progress.
• Supervise construction and related works, maintaining strict quality control.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, approved sketches and product or system specifications.
• Verify that contractors follow the Building Control Act, relevant Codes of Practice and requirements of building authorities.
• Review shop and construction drawings, samples and sub‑contractor submissions, reporting any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Registered Resident Engineer with BCA, IES or ACES.
• Minimum 10 years of site supervision experience as a resident engineer.
• Relevant marine and infrastructure project experience.
