Cloud Solution Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Engineer to design, build and integrate information systems on Huawei Cloud, supporting our internal business needs. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, guiding development, and ensuring solutions are aligned with cost and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate cloud‑based information systems to meet business requirements.
• Provide regular updates on product development, costs, and budgets to stakeholders.
• Assess existing architecture and recommend improvements in collaboration with technical staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Supervise and mentor development teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Research emerging technologies and propose relevant changes.
• Communicate technical challenges and impacts to various stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
• Experience in solution specification, evaluation and software development life‑cycle processes.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced cloud environment.

Required skills

• Experience in at least two of the following domains: mobile apps, games, integration, analytics, security, CI/CD platforms, networks, databases.
• Knowledge of micro‑services or big‑data concepts is highly regarded.
