Cloud Support Engineer

About the role

Thought Machine is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to join its global 24/7 support team in Singapore. You will work closely with clients, client success managers, delivery teams and engineering to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud‑native banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a multi‑region shift pattern to provide 24/7 client coverage.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical queries and incidents reported by clients.
• Validate core infrastructure, platform and banking‑layer issues using logs, alerts and traces.
• Analyse internal and client‑hosted observability tools to spot anomalies.
• Own tickets from creation to resolution, keeping clients informed of progress and timelines.
• Collaborate with L3 engineering support and wider engineering teams to meet agreed service levels.
• Provision cloud infrastructure and assist with product installation, rollout and ongoing support.

Required profile

• Experience in cloud support or technical operations within a fintech or banking environment.
• Ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and incident updates.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with observability tools (logs, alerts, traces).
• Knowledge of Vault or similar secure data storage solutions.
