Commercial Development Associate – Pricing

About the role

Our client, a full‑service logistics and engineering solutions provider, is looking for a Commercial Development Associate (Pricing) to support the Business Development team. You will manage the commercial process behind customer rate requests, vendor procurement and pricing activities, acting as the key link between customers, vendors, operations and the commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming customer and internal rate requests and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to obtain accurate, competitive pricing.
• Collect, analyse and validate vendor rates to prepare customer quotations and ensure they are delivered on time.
• Maintain the sales email inbox and keep pricing and vendor information up‑to‑date in the system database.
• Enter and update vendor contracts, pricing agreements and flag any discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability and track service performance, including failures and issue resolution.
• Support annual vendor audits by gathering required documentation and maintaining audit records.
• Assist the Regional Manager with operational needs and identify future business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience in operations, supply‑chain, logistics, procurement or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, good mathematical ability and fluent English communication.
• Office‑based work with occasional visits to vendors and customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with data‑analysis tools (a plus).
