Commercial Specialist – Contract Administration & Analysis

About the role

BW Offshore is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support contract administration, commercial analysis and client negotiations for its offshore energy projects in Singapore. The role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Commercial to ensure compliance, optimise commercial performance and drive value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts for assigned assets, maintaining up‑to‑date documentation, registers and records.
• Monitor contractual rights, obligations and deliverables, flagging risks, deviations and upcoming milestones.
• Support contract changes, including variations, amendments and extensions, ensuring proper approval and implementation.
• Assist in preparing and following up on claims, disputes and other contractual correspondence.
• Prepare commercial analyses, decision‑support material, management reports and presentations for negotiations and budgeting.
• Develop and maintain commercial, financial and economic models used for negotiations and value optimisation.
• Administer KPI mechanisms, invoicing inputs and production allocation in cooperation with Finance and Cost Control.
• Collect, structure and analyse commercial data to maintain high‑quality information for assets and projects.
• Support the Senior Manager, Commercial in negotiations with clients, partners and vendors, including preparation of material and follow‑up actions.
• Provide day‑to‑day customer engagement, respond to queries and maintain constructive relationships.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with company governance, delegated authorities and applicable policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration and commercial support within the energy or offshore sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare financial models and commercial analyses.
• Experience supporting senior commercial managers in negotiations and client interactions.
• Good understanding of contractual compliance, KPI tracking and invoicing processes.
