Communications Director – APAC

About the role

Nscale is seeking an experienced Communications Director for the APAC region to lead executive and internal communications. Reporting to the VP of Internal Communications, you will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to shape the company’s external presence and internal narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Communications to define senior leadership’s external positioning and media strategy.
• Prepare executives for high‑stakes engagements such as media interviews, keynotes, and global forums.
• Deliver briefings, messaging, and media training to ensure consistent and confident executive communication.
• Collaborate on company‑wide internal communication strategies and act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite leaders.
• Plan and execute major internal communication moments, including crisis management, campaigns, and strategic announcements.
• Track and analyze internal communication metrics to assess effectiveness.
• Develop and execute proactive media relations across top‑tier tech, business, and international outlets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and manage inbound media opportunities.
• Evaluate and prioritize speaking engagements, events, and invitation opportunities, creating clear decision frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior communications professional with a proven track record in executive and internal communications.
• Strong strategic advisory skills, capable of influencing C‑suite leaders.
• Excellent judgment and ability to prioritize high‑impact opportunities.
• Experience managing media relations and coordinating large‑scale events.
