Compliance Manager – Singapore

About the role

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager – Singapore to support BVNK’s regulated presence and growth in Singapore, working within the second line of defence compliance function.

Key responsibilities

• Support BVNK’s Singapore regulatory licence strategy and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as a second‑line‑of‑defence partner, providing independent compliance advice, oversight and challenge.
• Develop, maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures and controls for Singapore operations.
• Monitor Singapore regulatory developments, assess impact and drive required changes.
• Engage with MAS and other regulators, handling submissions, information requests and examinations.
• Deliver local compliance monitoring, identify gaps and drive remediation.
• Provide practical compliance advice on new products, services and partnerships.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Financial Crime, Product and Operations to embed regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in compliance or regulatory compliance within financial services, payments, fintech or digital assets.
• Good knowledge of Singapore’s financial services regulatory environment and MAS requirements.
• Experience operating within a second‑line‑of‑defence compliance function.
• Proven ability to develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and frameworks.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into practical business actions.
• Experience supporting regulatory interactions, submissions, audits or examinations.
• Ability to balance regulatory judgement with commercial pragmatism in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to provide effective challenge.
