Concierge

About the role

The Concierge is the primary guest‑service specialist at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, delivering personalised assistance that enhances the overall guest experience. Reporting to the Director of Guest Services, you will act as the go‑to resource for travel arrangements, local information, and special requests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with tours, golf bookings, restaurant reservations, flight bookings, reconfirmations and changes.
• Provide directional information, shopping tips, and recommendations for places of interest.
• Manage limousine bookings, billing, and revenue forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with hotel service, grooming, and LQA standards.
• Coordinate pre‑arrival arrangements such as birthday decorations, honeymoons and anniversaries.
• Make reservations using Singapore’s theatre, airline and transportation booking systems.
• Guide guests on immigration, customs and visa requirements.
• Handle telephone enquiries, mail, lost & found, guest complaints and timely delivery services.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a service‑oriented hospitality role.
• Strong customer‑service focus with the ability to stay calm and empathetic in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera Property Management System.
• Familiarity with hotel computer interfaces, PABX and internet‑based booking platforms.
