Confinement Centre Nurse – Full-Time (Up to $4500)

About the role

This full‑time position leads the Infant Nursery at a Confinement Centre, providing professional nursing care to newborns and supporting their parents. The role involves both day and night shifts on a four‑day work week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Infant Nursery team and supervise Infant Care Specialists.
• Deliver nursing services, monitor infants according to established protocols, and maintain accurate daily records.
• Feed infants on a predefined schedule, change diapers, bathe infants, and ensure all equipment is clean and safe.
• Maintain a constant supply of diapers and baby products.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about infants’ progress, concerns, and care plans.
• Support the development of secure attachments through warm, consistent caregiving.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a maternity ward or confinement centre.
• Certification in nursing care (NITEC in Nursing or equivalent).
• Ability to work both day and night shifts on a four‑day schedule.
