Construction Engineer – Mid Management

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Construction Engineer to lead the planning, design and execution of our construction projects. You will allocate resources across project stages, oversee engineering processes and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning and design phases of construction projects.
• Contribute technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
• Perform cost calculations and prepare financial projections.
• Prepare work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee construction engineering processes and conduct regular material and procedure tests.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and project timelines.
• Document processes, maintain detailed construction logs, and present progress updates to clients and senior managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology or a related field.
• State‑approved engineering license.
• At least 5 years of experience as a construction engineer in relevant specializations.
• Strong leadership, project management, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to visit construction sites outside regular business hours when needed.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with construction management software such as BuildSmart.
• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet.
