Construction Manager

About the role

RSK is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the Project Manager in delivering large‑scale water and water‑treatment plant projects. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction, commissioning, and the coordination of design and contractor teams while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction and commissioning of works.
• Process contractor claims, including progress payments, variations, and extensions of time.
• Coordinate design team and contractors to maintain consistent scheduling, cost control, document control, and quality assurance programmes.
• Review and update contractor schedules, tracking project status and cost performance.
• Manage quality assurance, safety requirements, and the consultant’s site supervision team.

Required profile

• Approximately 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years managing large water or water‑treatment plant projects.
• Relevant engineering degree or professional certification.
• Strong supervisory skills and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Project experience in water/water‑treatment plant projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling software (advantageous).
