Content & Web Management Specialist

About the role

The Asian School of the Environment at Nanyang Technological University seeks a hands‑on Content & Web Management Specialist. You will own the school’s digital presence, turning complex climate and sustainability research into engaging online experiences for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, update, and publish content across multiple websites built on Sitefinity, Wix, GoDaddy Website Builder, and WordPress.
• Design and launch new pages, landing pages, microsites, and support full redesigns or platform migrations.
• Maintain technical health of sites, including domain configuration, SSL certificates, redirects, page‑speed optimisation, SEO visibility, and accessibility compliance.
• Create graphics, illustrations, infographics, banners, and layout designs for websites, social media, events, and publications.
• Produce motion graphics and lightweight animations for web and social platforms, such as explainer videos and title sequences.
• Develop visual content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Bluesky, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and the Earth Observatory to translate scientific findings into clear, well‑designed digital assets.

Required profile

• Proactive and self‑directed, comfortable managing end‑to‑end web projects without a ticket queue.
• Enjoys a varied workload that blends technical website tasks with creative production.
• Passionate about climate, natural hazards, and sustainability research.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with scientists and interdisciplinary teams.
