Control Room Officer – Shift Work (Aviation, Changi)

About the role

The Control Room Officer will support aviation operations at Changi by monitoring flight schedules, coordinating ground time for maintenance, and handling on‑call service requests. This is a shift‑based position that requires close interaction with multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily flight schedules and communicate any changes to relevant parties.
• Coordinate aircraft ground time to facilitate scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Answer and manage telephone requests for on‑call maintenance support.
• Read incoming telex messages and take appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC or higher qualification, preferably in an engineering discipline.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
