About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join the culinary team at Shangri‑La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore’s only beachfront resort. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant kitchen environment, preparing dishes that reflect the resort’s high standards of quality and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Maintain food quality and consistency for all guest meals, banquets and special events.
- Follow Shangri‑La’s hygiene, safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist with kitchen set‑up, stock rotation and inventory checks for reservations and events.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service and smooth operation during peak periods.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for culinary arts and a desire to deliver excellent food.
- Enjoys interacting with team members and guests.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Curious about new culinary trends and eager to learn.
Required skills
- Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen setting.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and manage time effectively.
