Corporate Counsel – Amazon Leo (APAC focus)

About the role

Amazon Leo is building a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver high‑speed broadband to underserved communities worldwide. We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the Amazon Legal team and support the commercial development of this ambitious initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Amazon Leo commercial business development and sales teams to advise on strategic partnerships and enterprise customer deals, primarily in APAC markets.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring legal risk is managed while enabling rapid business execution.
• Develop and implement legal strategies and processes that balance risk mitigation with operational flexibility.
• Provide ongoing transactional legal support, including review of contracts, regulatory considerations, and compliance matters.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support business activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years focused on transactional work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to be continually challenged.
