Cost Manager CSA/MEP (Data Centre Projects)

About the role

Linesight is seeking a Cost Manager to join its data‑centre project team. You will work with a culturally diverse group of professionals, handling cost estimation, budgeting and commercial management for large‑scale data‑centre developments.

Key responsibilities

• Create estimates and cost plans for data‑centre client developments.
• Provide cost documentation and timely communication to support project management decisions.
• Participate in the tender/bid process from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend by preparing valuations, cost reports and communicating variations.
• Assist in settling construction disputes, loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial issues, change orders and contract matters promptly.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, handling any claims to ensure best value for the client.

Required profile

• Experience in pre‑ and post‑contract cost management on varied, preferably large‑scale projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management or a construction‑related discipline.
• Ability to manage own priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners and team members.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Enjoy building relationships with team members and clients.
