Cyber Security Instructor – Training & Course Development

About the role

The Cyber Security Instructor will join Mandiant’s Google Cloud team to design, deliver, and continuously improve technical training for customers and partners. You will work on both classroom and virtual formats, focusing on digital forensics, intrusion detection, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training to a variety of technical audiences.
• Support cyber security course development, including product research, subject‑matter expertise, and content review.
• Create and maintain slide decks, lab exercises, and other training collateral.
• Coach students and assess their technical capabilities during simulated attack scenarios.
• Build effective relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
• At least 3 years experience as a technical trainer or professional services consultant.
• 2 years experience providing cyber‑intelligence briefs to technical audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work from Singapore.

Required skills

• Memory forensics.
• Network Security Monitoring, network traffic analysis, and log analysis.
• Unix/Linux disk and memory forensics.
• Static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Scripting in Python.
• Understanding of Active Directory security controls.
