Data Analyst, Global Forward Network

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Data Analyst for its Global Forward Network (GFN) team in Singapore. The role focuses on turning complex logistics data into actionable insights that improve warehouse, transportation and network operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Logistics Cost Taxonomy framework, standardising cost classifications across logistics services.
• Analyse spend, invoice and operational data to uncover cost drivers, trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Validate and map logistics spend data to ensure accurate cost allocation and benchmarking.
• Support the creation of Cost‑to‑Serve models by providing data analysis, business requirements and operational insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data structures, reporting needs and analytical use cases for enterprise systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, including dashboards and visualisations.
• Utilise tools such as Tableau, Celonis, Databricks and SAP to build business‑intelligence solutions.

Required profile

• Motivated data professional with strong analytical mindset.
• Experience working with logistics or supply‑chain data is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
