Data Center Facilities Manager

About the role

Our client, a multinational facilities management company, is expanding its high‑performing team in Singapore and is seeking a Data Center Facilities Manager. The role will lead day‑to‑day operations of a critical data centre site, ensuring reliability and uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily data centre site operations, including mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems and critical facilities.
• Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programmes to maintain high equipment availability.
• Coordinate multi‑skilled engineering teams, technicians and external vendors.
• Monitor site KPIs, operational performance and uptime against agreed standards.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities through a CMMS platform while staying within budget.
• Act as escalation point for critical failures, directing troubleshooting, rectification and incident reporting.
• Manage specialist contractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, compliance and contractual obligations.
• Support site reviews, operational meetings, risk assessments, change control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, asset information and statutory compliance records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of M&E operations experience in a Tier III or equivalent data centre/critical facility.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant data centre certifications are a plus.
