About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to support the design and development of data ingestion and ETL processes within the Quantexa demo environment. The role focuses on building robust pipelines that feed data into analytical platforms and ensuring seamless integration with search technologies.

Key responsibilities

Participate in technical workshops with Quantexa architects to align on solution design.
Support decisions around Apache Spark execution approaches and performance tuning.
Develop and maintain data ingestion and ETL workflows.
Load and prepare demonstration datasets for testing and showcase purposes.
Integrate Spark processing results with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch clusters.

Required profile

Proven experience in data integration, transformation, and modelling.
Hands‑on expertise with Apache Spark for large‑scale data processing.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for indexing and search.
Programming proficiency in Python and/or Scala.
