Deputy/Assistant Manager, Bus Information Systems

About the role

This role sits within the team that oversees the operation and management of information systems on buses and in bus depots. It involves auditing, managing the Fleet Management System and supporting system operation and maintenance by public transport operators (PTOs) and appointed vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and manage the Fleet Management System
• Facilitate meetings and support oversight of system operation and maintenance by PTOs and vendors
• Engage PTOs and system vendors
• Support the Public Transport Directorate or LTA initiatives and events, and perform other assigned tasks

Required profile

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related fields; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Service-oriented team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders
• Meticulous, organised and open to developing new skills and adopting new technologies
• Resourceful, innovative and adaptable to change

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI and machine intelligence tools
• Python and SQL programming is advantageous
