Deputy/Assistant Manager, Contracts (Rail Core Systems)

About the role

This Deputy/Assistant Manager Contracts position works within a team responsible for the contracts of land transport infrastructure projects, specifically rail core systems. It is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contracts for the implementation of land transport infrastructure projects
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for new projects, initiatives and feasibility studies
• Prepare tender documents and ensure tenders comply with the Authority's requirements and procurement procedures
• Evaluate tender bids and administer contracts according to their provisions and financial procedures, including payments, variation valuations, claims assessment, cash-flow projects and contractual advice to project teams
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database for asset-replacement projects

Required profile

• Knowledge of electrical/electronics or mechanical engineering
• Organised and meticulous, able to work independently
• Strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and contracts management is considered for a senior position

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
