Desk Quant Analyst

About the role

Squarepoint Services Singapore is seeking a Desk Quant Analyst to maintain and enhance the codebase of systematic trading strategies. The role supports both research and production environments, handling large data sets and monitoring live trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade strategy code and configuration within the automated trading framework.
• Manage large datasets used for research and production.
• Perform live and historical monitoring of trading activities, including post‑trade analysis and production reconciliation.
• Collaborate closely with quant researchers and traders to address evolving desk requirements.
• Prepare data and processes before market open and monitor strategy performance during market hours.
• Work on longer‑term projects to expand and robustify systematic trading activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across regions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language (C++, Java, Python).
• Knowledge of Q/KDB+.
• Experience with Linux and Bash.
