DevOps Engineer (AWS & OpenShift)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and platform team at AngelHack Developer Labs. You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on AWS and Red Hat OpenShift, while embedding security throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code for AWS environments using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OKD/OCP) and oversee Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Tekton.
• Integrate security checks (SAST, DAST, SCA) and container image scanning (Trivy, Clair, Red Hat ACS) into pipelines.
• Manage secrets securely with HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or OpenShift Secrets.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks.
• Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and incident response.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen, based in Singapore.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on DevOps/DevSecOps or platform engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployment and management.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
