DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Platform (AWS & OpenShift)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure/platform team of AngelHack Developer Labs in Singapore. You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on AWS and Red Hat OpenShift environments, while embedding security throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code for AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, manage and optimise containerised applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OKD/OCP) and oversee Kubernetes/OpenShift cluster operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Tekton) and automate operational tasks.
• Integrate security gates, perform SAST/DAST/SCA scans and container image vulnerability scanning (Trivy, Clair, Red Hat ACS).
• Manage secrets securely with HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager or OpenShift Secrets.
• Implement policy‑as‑code and compliance‑as‑code using Open Policy Agent and OPA Gatekeeper.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and support disaster recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Singapore citizenship and residence.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps or platform engineering.
• Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Practical experience managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
