DevOps Engineer

About the role

Avensys is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a client project in Singapore on a 1‑year renewable contract. You will work within an agile, cross‑functional team to streamline software delivery, maintain application environments and ensure reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage multiple application environments to support efficient deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Atlassian Bamboo.
• Automate system operations including backup, recovery, patching and monitoring.
• Set up application monitoring and actionable alerts for development teams.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate modern web technologies (Node.js, ReactJS) into the delivery workflow.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon AWS.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Extreme Programming.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts.
