DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive automated deployments, reliability and scalability across multiple departments. You will work closely with development, infrastructure and product teams to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and product teams to ensure successful delivery and resolve build errors.
• Monitor, backup, deploy and maintain systems on a daily basis.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and automated testing frameworks.
• Develop scripts and programs for service monitoring, health checks and alerting.
• Automate and scale environments using Kubernetes, containers and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Implement security hardening throughout testing, deployment and production following DevSecOps best practices.
• Provide technical insights for solution design and promote a DevOps culture across the organization.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and ideas to improve production processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve abstract system‑administration issues.
• Experience documenting manuals, guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services.
• Proven ability to build high‑velocity, reliable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, Maven or Spinnaker.
• Familiarity with quality and management tools like SonarQube and Jira.
• Solid knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, RunDeck).
• Understanding of monitoring and tracing solutions (Vault, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, OpenTracing, AWS X‑Ray, App Mesh).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Groovy).
• System administration experience on Ubuntu/Debian Linux.
