Director, Executive Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Director of Executive Compensation & Benefits leads the design, implementation and governance of compensation programs for senior leadership. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this role ensures the company remains competitive, compliant and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market, industry and statutory trends in executive compensation and provide benchmarking insights.
• Prepare and present executive offer packages, employment contracts and promotion proposals.
• Advise senior leadership on compensation best practices and recommend base and variable pay adjustments.
• Manage global mobility processes and executive payroll, ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with global recruitment and HR partners to align compensation practices with business goals.
• Audit and review all compensation and benefits information requiring shareholder approval.
• Lead a small team responsible for executive payroll administration and mobility.
• Contribute to strategic HR projects and special initiatives across the organization.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably with exposure to APAC markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Proven ability to interact with C‑level executives and translate complex regulatory data into clear presentations.
• Strong knowledge of legal and tax regulations governing executive pay.
• Experience developing and rolling out large‑scale compensation programs.
