Director, Finance

About the role

The Finance Shared Services team in Singapore is looking for a senior leader to support the Head of Finance. The Director, Finance will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and effective financial controls for the Singapore branch and the Capital Market Service license entity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, including profit and loss, variance analysis and statutory filings.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on schedule.
• Review new products and advise on appropriate regulatory and accounting structures.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external auditors, advisors and regulators.
• Apply and monitor financial controls such as suspense account reviews, incentive compensation reconciliations and policy compliance.
• Prepare and file financial statements and support the tax team with income‑tax and transfer‑pricing information.
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems to improve automation and data accuracy.
• Participate in finance‑related projects supporting new products and business lines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance roles with responsibility for regulatory and statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and MAS reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage finance staff and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with auditors, regulators and internal finance partners.
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting tax compliance processes.
