Director, Transaction Banking FI Sales

About the role

As a Director of Transaction Banking FI Sales, you will lead the acquisition and growth of a portfolio of financial‑institution clients, delivering Payments, Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Trade Finance solutions across ANZ’s regional network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with banks, diversified financials, funds, insurers and brokers/dealers.
• Identify and execute revenue‑generating transaction‑banking opportunities across Payments & Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Trade Finance.
• Develop and implement client acquisition and portfolio growth strategies.
• Lead RFI/RFP responses, client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, product teams and regional stakeholders to deliver cross‑border solutions.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance discipline, escalating issues as needed.
• Coach and mentor less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Transaction Banking, Financial Institutions coverage or Corporate Banking.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and meeting ambitious targets.
• Strong origination capability to structure and execute complex opportunities.
• Demonstrated success managing senior relationships with banks and non‑bank financial institutions.
• Strategic thinker with ability to develop long‑term client value.
