EHS Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs at a high‑tech semiconductor fabrication facility. This senior position ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, drives a zero‑incident culture, and provides technical expertise on chemical, physical, and environmental risks unique to semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a site‑wide EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals and industry standards such as SEMI.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the EHS team while tracking performance indicators and reporting to senior leadership.
• Serve as the primary liaison with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies, managing inspections, permits, and correspondence.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systems and oversee internal audits and CAPA processes.
• Direct chemical management, SDS administration, hazardous material training, and risk assessments (JHA/JSA) for high‑risk fab activities.
• Manage industrial hygiene programs, including air monitoring, noise surveys, ergonomic assessments, and exposure controls.
• Lead investigations of significant incidents, ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee waste management, air emissions, and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leadership experience in EHS within a semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and related standards.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and drive cultural change toward safety excellence.
