Electrical Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for a large‑scale waste management facility in Singapore. The role works closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical design drawings, schematics and blueprints, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments, subcontractors and on‑site teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall project.
• Supervise installation of power distribution, lighting and control systems, and oversee testing and commissioning.
• Implement safety procedures, conduct inspections and ensure adherence to local building and electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and operation, providing ongoing maintenance support.
• Prepare technical documentation, testing reports and maintain accurate records of specifications and progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in construction.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, building codes and safety regulations.
• Relevant certification such as Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency with electrical design software.
