Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

RAMO Industries is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead the upkeep of automated control machinery used in precast fabrication and construction projects across Singapore. The role combines hands‑on maintenance, technical design, and training responsibilities to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot automated precast fabrication equipment such as concrete mixers, rebar bending/cutting machines, pallet circulation systems, and hollow‑core extrusion units.
• Service electrical distribution boxes, overhead and gantry cranes, and other lifting equipment.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, calibrations, and preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Develop and maintain critical spare‑part inventories.
• Document daily breakdowns, generate project‑level electrical work records, and produce preventive‑maintenance plans.
• Provide in‑house training for machine operators and the maintenance team on safe operation and breakdown repair.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience as an electrical maintenance engineer in building, construction, or precast civil projects.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Self‑motivated, highly resourceful, and organized.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or BIM software.
• Ability to design electrical circuits and perform electrical calculations.
• Knowledge of wiring practices and electrical distribution systems.
