Engagement Lead, Deposits & Transactional Payments (Work Permit Segment)

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a driven, hands-on Engagement Lead to join its Deposits & Transactional Payments team. The role leads customer engagement for the Work Permit segment, working with internal teams, partners and community stakeholders to run events, roadshows, help desks, workshops and outreach. It also helps Work Permit customers adopt digibanking, digital payments and DBS Remit, and raises awareness of scam and mule-account risks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run customer engagement activities for the Work Permit segment, including partner events, roadshows, help desks, workshops and community outreach.
• Lead and brief a small team of staff so they are ready for on-ground execution.
• Coordinate with external partners such as NGOs and MOM ACE, and internal stakeholders, to secure outreach opportunities.
• Deliver practical customer education on using digital banking services.
• Work with Marketing and Communications to create simple, segment-appropriate materials for events and frontline touchpoints.
• Gather feedback from customers, contract staff, partners and branches to recommend improvements to engagement and service delivery.
• Support the development and mobilisation of Work Permit ambassadors to strengthen peer-to-peer engagement.

Required profile

• Experience in customer engagement, product management, operations, community outreach or frontline banking support.
• Strong stakeholder management and good communication skills, able to explain banking services simply.
• Organised and proactive, able to manage several activities and stakeholders at once.
• Problem-solving mindset, able to turn feedback into practical improvements.
• Familiarity with digital banking, payments, remittance services or migrant worker banking needs is an advantage.
