Engineering & Maintenance Services Manager

About the role

The Engineering & Maintenance Services (EMS) Manager leads planning, execution and control of all EMS activities at the site level. You will ensure safe, on‑time and budget‑compliant delivery while coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and client interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise EMS works to align with approved scope and method statements.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment and subcontractor performance to maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage HSSE compliance by approving work permits, enforcing site safety rules and meeting client requirements.
• Conduct audits and inspections, identify non‑conformities and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Control cost performance through review of bills of quantities, purchase orders and budget utilization.
• Update work progress, invoicing and claims submissions for accurate financial tracking.
• Review and approve vendor quotations, invoices, material requisitions and training requests.
• Lead and support EMS site teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or Specialist Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance, EMS or site operations within oil & gas or petrochemical environments.
• Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Site HSSE / Safety certifications preferred.
