Equipment Technician

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Technician to support the manufacturing of advanced memory and storage solutions. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding electro‑mechanical equipment used in semiconductor production, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools where applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals or sketches.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to conduct equipment checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and execute equipment modifications directed by engineers.
• Apply AI‑enabled methods and tools to improve maintenance processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies preferred.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift.
