Estate Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Estate Maintenance Officer will support the FM Manager in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations of the estate and building, handling maintenance issues and supervising contractor work across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the FM Manager in efficient estate/building operations, focusing on daily maintenance management.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as plumbing, lock replacement, electrical appliance connections, and light‑bulb changes.
• Coordinate and supervise contractor‑performed maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to and arrange prompt rectification of critical building defects, including after‑hours emergencies.
• Oversee renovation work carried out by contractors.
• Validate that maintenance work meets specifications and conduct site walks to inspect the estate/building.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and security regulations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in estate or building maintenance.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) and able to communicate via email and phone.
• Ability to read and understand electrical single‑line diagrams.
• Capability to conduct site inspections, including using ladders and staircases.
