Experienced Carpenter – Lead Team

About the role

STARTEC Construction is looking for a skilled carpenter to lead its on‑site carpentry team. The role involves executing high‑quality woodwork, managing measurements, and ensuring project timelines are met. You will work in a dynamic construction environment and collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of experienced carpenters and provide training for new members.
• Perform site measurements independently with high accuracy.
• Interpret technical designs and produce freehand woodwork drawings.
• Ensure quality control of all carpentry work.
• Maintain and organize carpentry tools and equipment.
• Work in challenging outdoor environments, including night and split shifts.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local carpentry techniques and practices.
• Physically fit and willing to work night shifts, split shifts, and extra hours or weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor sites.
• Willingness to work extra hours or weekends if required.

Required skills

• Operating routers, planers, sanding machines, edge banders, and post‑forming machines.
• Freehand woodwork drawing and technical design interpretation.
