Facilities & Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our retail stores, commercial spaces, and project facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining high‑end finishes, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and delivering prompt repairs to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical works, including air‑conditioning, lighting and mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support planned maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults, focusing on root‑cause elimination.
• Install, service, and maintain various air‑conditioning units (split, window, cassette).
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for installations, commissioning and testing.
• Perform routine servicing such as filter cleaning, chemical cleaning and equipment overhauls.
• Replace or repair faulty components like compressors and fan‑coil motors.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service calls.

Required profile

• Diploma, certificate or relevant technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management or related field.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose problems and carry out repairs independently.
• Reliable, responsible and service‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
